Christer Fredriksen

This release finds Christer more or less alone with his guitar revealing a sound that one could expect from Terje Rypdal in his early ECM days.  On his third release for Losen Records, Christer spent three days in the studio.  Apart for some keyboard on two tracks by Kenneth Silden and a short percussion sample from Jan Erik Pettersen on another track, this is Christer´s world of sound. When Christer says that inspiration comes from many places, among them Deep Purple «In Rock» and Beatles «Sgt Pepper…» it is easy to understand that this is not a jazz album like his two previous releases.  Release date is January 20, 2017.
